Several inner-city Adelaide councils teamed together to commission a state of the art recycling centre in Kilburn in Adelaide’s North Western suburbs. Davidson Architecture worked with Pascale Construction and Wastech to design this bespoke facility which included automated sorting and processing of recycled product as well as a support office, delivery and dispatch areas. There was also a visitor centre included in the design which provided excellent views of the processing areas along with interactive learning tools and an education Centre. This project was fully designed and documented in Revit with Enscape, allowing a fully interactive process for the Construction Team and also the CAWRA user group and PCG from the beginning down to the fine detail of equipment installs, building services and office fit out and furniture. This project was completed in 2021.
