Davidson Architecture have worked closely with Downer and Tilt Renewables to deliver this much needed solution to South Australia’s peak energy requirements.

Powered by a nearby windfarm, which will deliver off peak power to pump the water to the upper dam, the scheme will deliver instant power to the grid by then releasing the water to the lower dam during peak demand.

Strategically situated in a former quarry, the local area stands to gain significant amenity through the power station visitor and picnic areas which will open up previously inaccessible parts of the Adelaide Hills.
