The design of this house accommodated a flexible arrangement which could be configured as a dual or single occupancy, using sound proofed internal doors. In terms of the street frontage, the building addresses the scale and form of the adjoining Victorian structure, while also acknowledging the larger scale elements of the railway directly opposite and the nearby light industrial and motor body shops.
