The popular Greensborough Bowling Club is an important social hub in the local community. However, the access to the buildings exterior had become dilapidated and outdated. Decaying structures and outdated design needed to be removed and updated beyond contemporary standards for accessibility and safety.

When contacted by Banyule City Council, we focused on providing a safe and easily accessible ramp system to both the entry and the rear loading access. whilst the budget was limited, there was little opportunity for cosmetic upgrades.

The accessible path of travel from the DDA Car Spaces was also updated to ensure universality of access could be extended to all of the community. Not just limited to applying AS1428.1, we also ensured that the ramps and steps were comfortable and not too steep, and the substructure to the southern deck was upgraded to last well into the future.
