The original change room pavilion at Lakeside Reserve was constructed at the same time as the Roxburgh Park, therefore it was time for an upgrade. The adjoining recently constructed pavilion provided updated Social Club Facilities and amenities, providing an opportunity for the old pavilion to be adapted for modern all gender change facilities.
Retaining the existing trussed roof structure along with the enduring concrete waffle slab, the interior was rearranged to provide modern amenities and Exeloo Public toilets which were installed to be accessed 24 hours from the reserve. The leftover space between the two pavilions was also filled in to create a new club storage area.
The new upgrades have proved to be great value and have created a brand-new change amenity for the Roxburgh Park Football Netball Club. The design has deliberately tried to connect and blend the two buildings and create a renewed and united headquarters for the club.
