Davidson Architecture were commissioned to provide an extension to the 40 year old Westmeadows Tennis Club Pavilion in Willowbrook Reserve along Moonee Ponds Creek. Set in a secluded and treelined location, the original building was in good condition but needed extra clubrooms and storage along with upgraded amenities, and kitchen and DDA access.
We worked with the club who gave us a very clear direction of what was needed. The new extension was clad in coloured panels to match the club colours and provided with full height glazing to provide occupants with a view which was literally ‘behind the servers arm’.
The worked were carried out efficiently by Citadel Constructions and the very happy club members are loving their rejuvenated pavilion.
